Shipping:

We ship orders using USPS and /or DHL, FedEx, UPS. You can track your shipment given the tracking number you are provided.

To meet our high standards of service, regardless of volume, all orders are shipped out within 1 business day (24 hours) after receiving the order (unless otherwise notified). If orders are received on a weekend or a holiday, orders are shipped the very next shippable business day. Nagamaki Shears will only accept shipments to a valid street address. We do not deliver to Rural Route Addresses. Periodically Nagamaki Shears may provide FREE SHIPPING via promotional use when applicable to domestic addresses in the United States for purchases that meet the requirements. This does not include ANY return shipping for any reason. Once you receive promotional FREE SHIPPING, all returns, exchanges, and subsequent reorders of new items will be at the expense of the purchaser. All orders will have Signature Confirmation and it will be at the purchasers discretion to contact the shipping company to waive the signature confirmation. Nagamaki Shears is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items purchased from Nagamaki Shears' website for any orders that waive the signature confirmation.

If you need additional international shipping that isn't currently listed in our shipping zones at checkout, please email us so we can provide and open additional shipping zones to your location.

Nagamaki Shears is not responsible for ANY Import Duties, Taxes and Fees that may be required for delivery of your order. These extra costs, charges, and fees are determined by your country, state, or local government, and are NOT INCLUDED or covered by the cost you pay for International Shipping. 

 

Return and Exchange Policy:

Returns and Exchanges must be sent back within 7 days from the date of delivery. All returns and exchanges will be at the shipping expense of the purchaser and is not the responsibility of Nagamaki Shears. Return shipping insurance is highly recommended as Nagamaki Shears is not responsible for lost or damaged returns/exchanges during transit. All returns/exchanges from the Nagamaki Korean Collection have an automatic 15% return processing fee per shear. All returns/exchanges from the Nagamaki Japanese Collection & Tezukuri Collection have an automatic 25% return processing fee per shear. This return processing fee will be deducted from the refunded/exchange amount if and once a refund/exchange has been determined. The returned product(s) must not be damaged or show signs of ANY wear or abuse. The product(s) must be clean and all items (including any promotional items, the item’s case, etc.) must be returned. Everything returned must be in perfect flawless condition if a refund/exchange is expected. If the returned item(s) do not meet ALL of these requirements, then no refunds or exchanges will be permitted and the items will be mailed back to the purchaser at the cost of the purchaser and not Nagamaki Shears.

If any product(s) is being returned or exchanged, an email must be sent to us prior to returning it so we can reply back with return/exchange instructions along with a Return/Exchange Form and Packing Instructions if needed or requested.

All orders MUST be shipped back within 7 days from the date of delivery in order for Nagamaki Shears to issue a refund or exchange. This means that we must be able to determine the date that the return parcel was sent using the parcel’s tracking information. Please ensure that the product(s) is packaged well to avoid damage during shipping. If the product is found loose in the parcel and is damaged due to poor packing, no refunds or exchanges will be permitted and the items will be mailed back to the purchaser at the cost of the purchaser and not Nagamaki Shears. Return shipping insurance is highly recommended as Nagamaki Shears is not responsible for lost or damaged returns/exchanges during transit.

This is non-negotiable and Nagamaki Shears reserves the right to make the final call.

 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Accessories including, Combs, Hair Clips, Scissor Oil, and Scissor Cases are FINAL SALE and non refundable due to sanitation and safety. 

 

Return Processing Fee:

There is an automatic 25% Return Processing Fee on returns/exchanges from our Japanese and Tezukuri Collection and an automatic 15% Return Processing Fee for returns/exchanges from our Korean collection. Since Nagamaki  Shears does not restock and resell any previously purchased items, our return fee is used to process the return in order to replenish our inventory with a new item.

 All final sale items such as Accessories not eligible for return.

 

Limited Editions:

Limited Editions are not eligible for refund as there is only a limited number of these made. Only an exchange is possible with the total previously purchased amount given as a store credit to be applied to another model. These limited editions come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Damage caused by neglect or abuse and shears serviced by unauthorized sharpeners will void your warranty. All service work should be performed by an authorized sharpening company. Please see our Return and Exchange policy above for all pertaining information on exchanges. 

 

 PLEASE NOTE: Sharpening services are not included with any Nagamaki Shear purchase. This service is available through our Sharpening Page and doesn't not expire after purchasing. All Sharpening and Drop/ Repair Services, are FINAL SALE and Non Refundable. 

 

Warranty returns:

All Nagamaki Shears are covered under our lifetime warranty unless specified otherwise.  Nagamaki Shears are warranted to be completely free of material and workmanship defects. We will repair or replace any shears that we find are defective or malfunctions. Please note normal wear and tear, unauthorized sharpening, and abused or damaged products are not covered. Shipping and handling must be covered by the customer and is not the responsibility of Nagamaki Shears. Once the item(s) have been inspected and determined there is a manufacturer defect and not signs of neglect, abuse, normal wear and tear, or obvious evidence of a dropped scissor or shear we will replace the item at no cost to the buyer.
